This movie used to be impossible to find. Yet I just saw it on the shelf at my local video store, Video Journeys in Silverlake. When did What A Way To Go! get released on DVD? Oh who cares -- the important thing is, NOW IT IS!!!

Above is the infamous "Lush Budgett" sequence. Every actress dreams of being in a movie sequence like this! Even star Shirley MacLaine had to keep pinching herself to remind her it was all real. As her character says it's "like one of those lush budget films where it's all about what she's going to wear next." WOW, those Edith Head costumes are spectacular! 1964 was a very good year! Remind me to remind you to remind me how much I love this movie!
