Blonde Redhead at Barneys

Last week my BFF asked me if I cared to be her plus one for a party at the Barneys COOP.  I said, "Sure, why not?"  Far be it from me to pass up a party with free food and beverages.  Then yesterday morning (the day of the soiree) I just so happened to read on Brooklyn Vegan that Blonde Redhead (Blonde Fucking Redhead!) was playing a party at Barneys.  "Exsqueeze me?" I said to myself.  I immediately picked up the phone and called my buddy to ask if this was the same party we were attending.  IT WAS!   

Words don't do justice to describe the pee-in-my-pants excitement (well okay words did a bit of justice there) that I felt in anticipation for this show.  I've only seen Blonde Redhead on big stages, so imagine how I felt when I got to see them on a tiny stage! I stood directly in front of Amadeo!  It was a Blonde Redhead greatest hits night too, making  the show easily one of the top 10 of all time for me.

And Project Runway's Alison Kelly was there!  I had a nerd-out moment with my camera phone, as you can see...
